Welcome, and thank you for visiting Central Presbyterian Church. Our website highlights the wide variety of worship, fellowship and service opportunities available. Please feel free to read more about our church on this site, or come in for a visit. We would love to greet you and share with you our love for Jesus Christ and for you, our neighbor.
We at Central Presbyterian Church believe that the love of God should flow through us to our members, our community, our nation and the world. We will spread God's love through the outreach of our prayers, deeds, and financial resources.

UPCOMING EVENTS AVON CENTRAL PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
IS CLOSED DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS
NYS is in phase 1 of re-opening. Central Presbyterian Church will re-open when we get to Phase 4 when we can meet together as one congregation according to the rules set up by Governor Cuomo. Please continue to be vigilant in fighting this disease with social distancing & masks. The better we follow these guidelines now during phase 1, the sooner we will be able to worship together again. We look forward to seeing you during Phase 4!
Until then, take care and God bless!

ABOUT THE RECENT RADIO BROADCASTS:
Since the outbreak of the Covid 19 virus, our Pastor Carin Farmer, the sound man from the radio and the music director have been recording broadcasts for Sunday (keeping 6 feet apart).
Any choir or bell choir music was recorded during pre-Covid times. The sermon is new and refers to today's situation. Soloists and organ music is recorded for this particular service. We hope it brings you solace, hope and some joy during these unsettling times.
We will get through this together:
* by sharing the love of God - at a distance!
* by enjoying the promise of Spring.
* by watching out for neighbor's needs
* by washing those hands & wearing masks.
* by reading the Bible for inspiration & comfort.
* by focussing on the things we can be grateful:
friends, family, church and the love of God.
THANK YOU FOR BRINGING US JOY!
